KarlWOLFENDENIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Wolfenden after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

A beloved father, grandfather and father-in-law.

His funeral service will be held at Cheltenham Crematorium, Willow Chapel at 2.30pm on Wednesday 18th February 2026.

My deepest condolences to Karl's family. Karl and I were good friends at Cheltenham Grammar School together. He came to visit me for a few days after I moved to London, but then we lost touch before either of us settled down so I have never met his family. I made a few unsuccessful attempts to locate him over the years
until I saw the funeral notice last week. He was a good friend to me, very loyal and generous, with a smile and sense of humour that everybody loved. Rest in peace Karl.
